Résumé : L'intérêt de cet article est de montrer comment, dans la Chine ancienne, les "Médicastres" faisaient de la médecine "Prédictive". Connaissant le cycle jiazi, et par combinaison des Troncs Célestes (tiangan) avec des Branches Terrestres (dizhi), ils arrivaient à prévoir le temps, c'est-à-dire, la climatologie de l'année. On pouvait donc aider le peuple dans les travaux des champs et surtout se prémunir contre les maladies, par la diététique et par l'acupuncture. Summary: This article is to point out how, in Ancient China, doctors practiced medicine with a view to the future. With their knowledge of the jiazi cycle and by combining the Celestials Trunks (tiangan) with the Earthly Branches (dizhi) they were able to foresee the weather, that is to say to give a forecast for the coming year. This enabled them to take precautions regarding eating habits and acupuncture.
